  1. can the dry skin issue be mitigated by applying oil or a sorbolene moisturizer to the skin?

  2. I was surprised to find out how old the H10 design is and that because it's so good, there has been no need for a new version like an H11 or something.

  3. I have H10 and Verity and I love and hate both of them. H10 is the most accurate, responsive and secure HRM I've had. The band ensures contact all the time. But the extra contacts make the band harder and tighter on my chest, it is the most difficult band to breathe with. That's why I bought the Verity so I don't have pressure on my chest. Verity is too slow to react, giving 15 BPM difference when sprinting. Luckily I have powermeter so I don't watch the HR when sprinting, only when doing steady-ish effort where the lag is not a problem. The bigger problem of the Verity is also the band. It is softer than the H10's but the velcro is unnecessary and spoils the comfort. The metal clasp is too big too. But I found a solution to this problem too – sticking the pod to the inside of the cycling jersey's sleeve with double-sided tape. There is enough elasticity in the sleeve to hold it against the skin, I haven't noticed it losing contact and reporing weird values. I just have to remember to unstick it before washing the jersey.

  4. I just baught a garmin forrunner 265. I am using a garmin marathon training plan. Would I benefit from buying a chest strap or is the 265 accurate enough. And what chest strap would you recommend for running and some biking.

  5. once you pair the device with your smart watch, will your watch continue to take heart rate from your wrist when you do not have the chest strap on? do I need to manually disable the heart rate monitor from the watch or will it automatically pair with my heart rate monitor when I turn it on for a work out?

  6. Odd question: do these straps work if they were strapped with the pod resting on your back, rather than your chest? I do a sport that involves lots of bumps and hits to the front of my chest, so being able to rotate the strap around so the pod rested on my back would be nice.

  7. I have both H10 and Verity Sense. I prefer the H10 because it's faster and more accurate but the straps wear out and are relatively expensive. Two device connection is a must-have for me since I use VR for cardio and want to see my heart rate in VR as well as on my phone when I'm using it outside of VR without having to re-pair.

  8. Could anyone who owns the Verity Sense confirm if it's accurate for running on a treadmill? I like to do my steady state cardio for up to 45 minutes and need to make sure I'm in a certain heart rate zone in order to get the maximum benefits from my session.

    Thank you.

  9. Thank you very much for the video, I have a question for you. I currently have the Polar OH1 sensor, do you want it to be worth changing it for the polar sense? Will there be much of a difference in accuracy? thank you

  10. Hey guys. If anyone can offer any insight. I’ve been using the H10 chest strap. but I’ve been considering switching to the verity.

My only question is HOW different is the quality of HR data between the both? I notice it uses the green lights ( which from my limited research is not as good as ECG ) thanks peeps

  11. H10 is garbage. Major pairing with phone and sync with app problems. So irritating to spend 30 minutes to get it to work. If it doesn't happen to yours, wait for it…..its coming.

  12. Hi, the verity will work paired with a Garmin watch! I don’t necessarily need many App for everything, preferred keep using my Garmin app,

  13. Does Polar H10 cooperate well with Garmin watches? Did all data transfer completely from Polar H10 to Garmin watch?

  14. Thanks, that was a good overview.
I am surprised how well thought out and engineered the Verity Sense is for general and very specific use cases.
