I use this daily in my classroom and it works well. However, when it tips over on the table the plastic buttons jam in easily. Not sure how many short falls it will hold up through. The buttons with some wiggling do come unstuck. If it can survive a few weeks in my high school classroom, it’d probably be perfect for home use.
The magnet clip on the back is nice. It sticks to my blackboard and keeps the timer visible to students. 0

I needed a timer with a loud sound when my time was finished. This has that. It is has large digits and is easy to set. My only complaint: this timer lacks one nice feature from my older (no longer available) timer. The magnet of this Large Digit Timer is on a strip running down the middle third of the device. So, when stick it on my refrigerator and press the Minute or the Start/Stop button, the timer rocks back and feels like it could easily fall off.

Do not purchase this item. The buttons barely worked from out of the box. The noise the timer makes sounds like it’s battery is as old as time. Not even worth wasting the time trying to return it.
